An order has been given directly from the office of Join Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) On the price of the ePins to be sold in the accredited centers for 2021 registration.
The JAMB registrar Prof Ishaq Oyolede gave a warning while still in the meeting on Tuesday that the sale of JAMB ePIN should not exceed some price limits which will start next month.
According to him, the sale of ePins to the applying candidates should not exceed the sum total of ₦4,000. Where the pin will cost ₦3500 and the book referred for the exams cost ₦500. He added that any financial institution caught selling the pins above the price given should be removed, delisted and prosecuted so that they will no longer participate in the jamb registration.
The pins will be distributed to candidates digitally or electronically to reduce the hardship and stress in the work. Any financial institution that will distribute pins written with physical human hands should not be accepted.
Banks will receive approximately 30,000 pieces of ePins, microfinance bank will get 10,000 pins from the board.
Note; candidates are adviced to be very careful of fraudster, because moments like this will come along with alot people holding fake identities to get money illegally.
